Hi folks. The band is working on the editing and sound mixing of the DVD and double live CD. Soon they'll start writing new songs (something is already on the coal). What else??? It's getting pretty warm here in Italy and this marvellous sightseeing of the sea will surely give the guys some kind of "Bay Area" inspiration for songwriting! Moreover PEK has been staying in Davis (60 miles from San Francisco and the Bay Area) up to the end of August and he is composing too!! Ok, further infos will come in the next bulletins....   Keep it up, metal cheers.

APRIL 2008

Hi guys, so the live show in Pisa went great!!! Now it's time for audio mixing and later on, the DVD editing. The concert will be released as a double live cd plus a bonus DVD!  You'll know more in the next months, in any case, it'll be released around OCTOBER / NOVEMBER. It will contain songs from all 7 albums. The guys also played a gig in Rome on the 4th and it went great too!! There was Fabio Montorzi on rhythm guitars because Pek will be in USA until September. Now the guys will start writing new material for a new album..... so stay tuned and rock on!

MARCH 2008

Hello folks, the DVD recording gig is behind the door!!!  On the 22nd, ELDRITCH plus Oleg Smirnoff will play a 2 hour show that will be split in 2 equal parts: the 1st part with  songs from the REVERSE album 'till nowadays... Then the 2nd part of the show will be about the 1st 3 albums and with all the keys played by the former keyboard player Oleg Smirnoff. So what??? Hope to see the most of you guys at the MUSIC STREET LIVE club at LUGNANO, PISA.  Keep in touch and metal Easter to all of you..

RINUNCIA ITALIAN GODS

Siamo spiacenti di comunicare che non parteciperemo più all'Italian Gods Of Metal. Purtroppo non era nelle nostre intenzioni perché a un Gods, che sia italiano o internazionale non rinunciamo mai. Infatti teniamo a precisare che quando la Live ci contattò poco più di un mese fa, proponendoci la partecipazione, abbiamo subito accettato entusiasti. Soltanto pochi giorni dopo abbiamo saputo però che avremmo suonato in sostituzione ai Labyrinth, cosa che la live non ci aveva comunicato, e che come loro, avremmo dovuto suonare alle 13,30 sul palco piccolo…Molto sorpresi abbiamo provato a chiedere spiegazioni via e-mail alla Live che però in tutto questo tempo non ci ha mai risposto se non pochi giorni fa per chiederci la guest list…

Non pretendevamo il posto da headliners ma neanche immaginavamo di suonare così presto… la nostra storia penso tutti la conoscano compresa la Live e con tutto il rispetto e la stima per le altre band che suoneranno, alle quali auguriamo un sincero in bocca al lupo per l'evento, non pensiamo di meritare questo trattamento…

Chiediamo scusa ai nostri fans per la sofferta decisione certi che capiscano la situazione, con la speranza di non alimentare nessun tipo di polemica perché non è nelle nostre intenzioni. Soltanto ritenevamo doveroso spiegare loro le motivazioni.

 

NO ITALIAN GODS OF METAL

We feel bad to announce that ELDRITCH won't perform at the Italian Gods of Metal fest in Milan, on March 1st. It wasn't in the intentions of the band, because a Gods of metal fest (italian or international) is always an important event that the band would never renounce to. A couple of months ago, when LIVEINITALY contacted the band, they didn't know the exact position on the bill, so ELDRITCH approved. Only a few days later they've been told that they've been called as a replacement for LABYRINTH, and with a big surprise, to play at 13:30 in the first afternoon! The band sent a few emails to LIVEINITALY asking for the reasons, but have never recieved any answer. The band never expected to play as headliners, but not even in the early position they've been billed for!! The whole world knows that ELDRITCH is one of Italy's most famous and best selling acts since 1995! The band is really sorry for this announcement and wishes all the best to the other bands attending the show. Enough has been said,

Yo folks!!
So, here we are again.... The band is working hard for the March 22nd event (plus the live DVD recording of such show).
Oleg Smirnoff will surely play the old tracks from the 1st 3 albums.
For the rest, there will probably be some special guest on stage, but nothing official yet... the songwriting for the new album will begin in the months to come.... What else???
Hope to see the most of you guys at the DVD gig and in the meantime the band wishes everybody to keep the faith!! Rock on...

JANUARY 2008

Happy New Year to eveybody out there!!! ELDRITCH are proud to announce the recording of their 1st official live DVD! It'll be recorded during the show at the MUSIC STREET CLUB in LUGNANO, PISA, in ITALY, on March 22nd. The show will comprise a lot of old tracks from the early era of the band and these songs will be played by some old member!!!! During the show there'll be a lot of guests from the past. Of course the current line up will play the most of the show with the new album's setlist.. So, stay tuned on the next news coming on. ELDRITCH will also be part of the Italian GODS OF METAL fest on March 2nd. Other shows will be added in the next weeks....

DECEMBER 2007

Hi people out there! The last days of the year are coming and the guys have one more show left to play; December 8th, at Pisa, Italy, at the BORDERLINE CLUB. After this, the band will probably start working on the new stuff and also on the DVD recording scheduled for March. There's also an important news regarding the band's new management co. This news will be added in the next days as soon as it's official! What else??? Hope to see you all at the Pisa gig and happy holidays to everybody, wishing you guys a Metal Christmas and a Heavy New Year!!

NOVEMBER 2007

Hello to all you folks out there. ELDRITCH are ready for the PROGPOWER SCANDINAVIA  at Copenhagen on the 10th, the Verona show on the 16th and then more shows still to come.... Keep your eyes wide open.. What else??? there are BIG future plans but the band will let the news out in the early new year.... So, keep your eyes on the site and the Myspace page and don't forget to get your copy of BLACKENDAY, it's for a good reason!!!!
